In the busy world we live in, we sometimes don’t take the time out to just breathe and do something for ourselves. We’re often being woman, mothers, wives, daughters, sisters and so on for someone else that we forget our own needs.
It’s so important that we give ourselves a few days out of the month just for us. Finding a day out of every week is not always doable but having at least a day or two a month that is entirely for you is fair.
I’m running into women who are just plain tired. They’re running around doing for everyone and not themselves. This isn’t fair nor is it healthy. So find some time out of your busy schedule to do something for you. You may not have the whole day but part of you’re day should be just for you. There are so many ways you can pamper yourself. If you’re on a budget, hello Groupon and Living Social are great ways to get a deal on a massage. Make it fun and do something you like. It’s great for the mentality.
It’s not selfish to give yourself a break. If someone tells you that you’re being selfish, ask them when was the last time you did something just for yourself. If they can’t recall they can’t comment. And even if they can recall something from a new months ago, phawk em! Do you because you’re worth it and you’ve earned it. Happy Saturday My Boujie Beauties!
